These high quality stainless steel mid pipes are designed to connect your new Kooks long tube headers to your factory or aftermarket catback exhaust. They feature 3" inlets and factory sized 2 1/2" outlets along with high flow Green  cats. These mid pipes only work with  Kooks headers PT# 6910 and 6905 (2009+ Applications).

About Kooks Green Cats!

Kooks now offers mid pipes with what they call "Green" catalytic converters. Normally when you install headers, you need to get a tune because the new high flow cats flow differently, and create check engine codes. The codes will pretty much certainly appear without a tune. These new green cats from Kooks use a special design that still flows at a very high level, but also does not throw codes for the vast majority of customers. In the testing thus far, 98% of customers did not get a check engine lights with the stock tune.

Please note that these cats are not intended for highly modded cars with cams, superchargers, and so forth. At that point, you would need to tune the car anyway, making spending an extra $350 on cats that don't throw codes pointless. Also, this does not effect the fact that long tube header setups are sold for off road racing use only. Any time you remove functioning factory cataytic converters from a car, you are breaking emissions laws.
