In order to properly clean and oil your SLP/Blackwing filter you should use this kit. This cleaning kit is designed specifically for the special synthetic media in the SLP/Blackwing filters (most others use ordinary cotton fiber). Maintaining your filter properly will give you maximum filtration and life.
