The Best GTO Header On The Planet - A MarylandSpeed Exclusive!
MarylandSpeed is pleased to announce these new "Kooks Signature Series" 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stepped headers for the 2004-2006 Pontiac GTO. This header is a direct result of our work with Kooks and Carolina Auto Masters to develop the best header on the market for the GTO. On our shop 2006 GTO, with very small street cam, these headers produced better HP and TQ curves across the whole range when compared to standard 1 3/4" Kooks headers. The greatest gain these headers produced was in low end TQ with gains of over 7 ft/lb's . That gain increased further when we retuned the vehicle specifically for the stepped headers. Even greater gains would be seen on vehicles with more aggressive modifications, as the test vehicle was only in the 420 RWHP Range. We are currently recommending these headers for GTO's up to 600 RWHP. The first batch of "Signature Series" headers is scheduled to ship the second or third week of November. With a proper tune at a dyno shop, or SLP's Diablosport Tuner, these headers are good for 20-35HP depending on the vehicle.
To connect your new header system to your factory/aftermarket catback exhaust, you can also select either Kooks 3" Off Road Mid-Pipes, or their 3" Catted Mid-Pipes that include metallic catalytic converters. Both are made of stainless steel and engineered to the same high standard as Kooks other products!

Each primary tube is one continuous piece of tubing. Some competitors weld several pieces of tubing to create one primary, which is a weaker design.
