These 304 stainless steel tube headers are for the 2006+ Trailblazer SS. Kooks builds all of their products to the highest standard, and these are possibly the best headers you can buy for your Trailblazer. They feature 1 7/8" primaries, and 3" collectors with O2 Bugs welded in. With a proper tune, these headers are good for 20-40HP depending on the vehicle.

To connect your new header system to your factory/aftermarket catback exhaust, you can also select either Kooks 3" Off Road Y-Pipe, or their 3" Catted Mid-Y-pipe that include metallic catalytic converters. Both are made of stainless steel and engineered to the same high standard as Kooks other products!

Which Header Size Should you Choose?

The 1 3/4" headers work are great for all but the most extreme applications. Unless you have nitrous, a supercharger or extreme internal engine work, you may actually see a decrease in performance with the 1 7/8" header due to lack of back pressure. Also please note that a professional tune is recommended to help your engine fully make use of the headers.

There are not cost savings by downgrading your coating.
