MarylandSpeed is excited to be the first vendor to offer and stock Kooks new exhaust system for the Pontiac G8 GT! This new system includes Long Tube Headers (1 3/4" or 1 7/8"), High Flow X-pipe (catted or off road), and optional axleback exhaust. Long Tube Headers-

These 304 stainless steel long tube headers are for the 2008+ Pontiac G8 GT. Kooks builds all of their products to the highest standard, and these are possibly the best headers you can buy for your G8. They feature 1 3/4" primaries, and 3" high velocity merge collectors with O2 Bugs welded in. The 1 3/4" size will support stock to 500 rwhp applications. If you are modding your car to a higher power level, you may want to consider Kooks 1 7/8" headers (PT# 6711) With a proper tune at a dyno shop these headers are good for 20-35HP depending on the vehicle.

High Flow X-pipe-

Your new headers are much longer than your factory manifolds. Because of this, you must purchase a new, shorter, Kooks X-pipe to connect your new headers to your factory/aftermarket exhaust. The G8 Kooks X-pipe is a high flow 3" x 2.5" full length design. It can be ordered with high flow cataytic converters (PT#6711-CX) or off road style without cats (PT#6712-OX). These X-pipes are the best design on the market and feature flex joints to reduce any harshness or drone from the G8's MDS system. Both are made of 304 stainless steel and engineered to the same high standard as Kooks other products!

We now offer Connection pipes that will bolt right up to your catback without a Kooks X-pipe! Selectable in the dropdown above, these pipes are available both with, and without cats.

Axleback Exhaust-

Buy as a Package and Save!

This Kooks header/X-pipe system will bolt to your factory axleback/mufflers just fine. However if you want a more aggressive tone, Kooks also offers an all 304 Stainless Axleback system (PT# 6718). This 2.5" System features Kooks own quad core race mufflers. These mufflers product an agressive yet refined tone. The system ends beautifully with 4" double wall oval tips that look right at home in the G8's rear valance! If you buy the complete system from MarylandSpeed (Headers, X-pipe, and axleback) you get an awesome package price!
