These 304 stainless steel long tube headers are for the 2005-2007 LS2 Powered Chevrolet Corvette. Kooks builds all of their products to the highest standard, and these are possibly the best headers you can buy for your GTO. They feature 1 3/4" primaries, and 3" collectors with O2 Bugs welded into the collector. With a proper tune at a dyno shop, or SLPs Diablosport Tuner, these headers are good for 20-35HP depending on the vehicle.

To connect your new header system to your factory/aftermarket catback exhaust, you can also select either Kooks Off Road X-Crossover System, or their Catted X-Crossover System, which includes high flow metallic catalytic converters. With the X-Crossovers, you can also choose between 3"x 2.5" and 3"x3" sizes. Choose the 3 x 2.5" size to connect to the factory and most aftermarket catbacks, and choose the 3"x3" catback to connect to aftermarket 3" catback systems. Both are made of stainless steel and engineered to the same high standard as Kooks other products!

Which Header Size Should you Choose?

The 1 3/4" headers work are great for all but the most extreme applications. Unless you have nitrous, a supercharger or extreme internal engine work, you may actually see a decrease in performance with the 1 7/8" header due to lack of back pressure. Also please note that a professional tune is recommended to help your engine fully make use of the headers.

My headers had the Sterling Silver Jet coat. Coating looked very similiar to chrome. Installed on my 08 Corvette with less than 1000 miles. Install was simple (lift recommended) with only one complaint. DO NOT use included gaskets. I ended up taking the driver's side off after aprox. 200 miles and installing the old factory gasket. Even Maryland Speed recommends using factory gasket. No leaks using OLD gasket. You will need some retune to elimanate the P0420 / P0430 code set (converter) on the high flow cats. Fuel milage went up to 28.5 MPG (averaging 80 MPH on 2400 mile trek). Thanks Aaron (hope I spelled correctly) and Maryland Speed for the deal. Shawn K.
